
There was drama at the Thirdway Alliance party headquarters when Ekuru Aukot was ousted as the party boss.
Led by Frederick Okango, the party's Sectary-general, the members accused him of financial impropriety among other irregularities.
In a statement to the press, Mr Okango said the party's NEC had considered various accusations made by party members against Mr. Aukot aand their decision to suspend him was the best decision as they continue with investigation.
Other accusations by the NEC were as follows;
- Self enrichment.
- Assault on the party's Deputy leader-Dr. Angela Mwikali.
- Non accountability
- Defying a court order in children case number 1591 of 2019 thereby violating chapter 6 of the Kenyan constitution.
The party leader summarised by saying thaaat Dr. Eukuru Aukot had been suspended indefinitely and shall not represent or transact aany business on behalf of the party pending determination of the matter by the displinary committee.
