The former National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate in the last general elections, Bobi Wine is a happy man this evening following the party's candidates victory at Muteesa Royal University.
Bobi Wine could not hide his joy and took to his various social media platforms to share the information with his millions of followers.
Male Ashraf and Nakayita Maria Gorreth were both elected guild president for Muteesa Royal University Kampala and Masaka Campuses respectively under National Unity Platform (NUP).
According to Bobi, the victory of the two candidates is a sign that the young people of Uganda stand with the NUP party and Uganda at large.
"I congratulate comrades Male Ashraf and Nakayita Maria Gorreth on these victories," Bobi Wine posted on his facebook page.
Bobi Wine also advised the new student leaders to unite forces so as to continue advocating for a better Uganda.
This came months after Terry Ivan also won the Kyambogo University presidency under the National Unity Platform (NUP) party.
Bobi Wine was president Yoweri Museveni's strongest opponent in the last presidential elections where he came second with over five million votes even though he is still yet to come into terms with the election results.
President elect, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is scheduled to be sworn in on May 12th, 2021, and a number of head of states will attend the ceremony according to the Uganda media reports.
