COTU Secretary-General, Francis Atwoli has again spoken on what he will do ahead of 2022. The vocal leader who is a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta has hinted on his plans on whom the Luhya nation will endorse as the 2022 supremacy battle intensifies. Atwoli was earlier installed as the Luhya spokesperson now says that he will convene a mega rally at Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega on 31st December 2021 where the Luhya community will decide who to back for presidency next year.
Atwoli has been claiming that DP Ruto can never become the president of this nation in 2022. He has always shown his support to Raila Odinga who has publicly been endorsed by Uhuru Kenyatta. However, Kenyans reacted to his firm stand on politics. Some have told him that this is politics and he will not take Kenyans for a ride. Others allegedly told him that he will go home in 2022.
