It has been a tough day for agents of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party in Rurii Ward, Nyandarua County since the by-election kicked off early this morning. It is a contest between the Jubilee Party which nominated Peter Thinji to be the flag bearer and the UDA party associated with Deputy President William Ruto nominated Francis Muraya to be the flag bearer.

Dennis Itumbi who is one of Ruto's right-hand men has disclosed that there were Nyandarua Journalists held hostage by "men in black" in one of the rooms at Pasenga Polling Station. Itumbi said that "At what Point will Deep State understand that only the People of Rurii will decide their MCA? Bringing in Men In Black to attack Polling stations and drive UDA agents and journalists will FAIL! The People have DECIDED!"
Itumbi later disclosed that the men in black brought from Nairobi in a Rembo Shuttle bus have been chased by the people of Rurii ward. It is alleged that the men were imported from Nairobi by the 'deep state" to come and disrupt the UDA agents and also lock the journalists to interfere with the by-election. In a video circulated by Itumbi, a section of residents is seen throwing stones and chasing them away. Do you think it is necessary to impose this kind of force and intimidation on a ward by-election? Remember to leave a comment on the same. Below is the link to the video where the residents were chasing the alleged goons.
