Moses Kuria's Touching Message to President Uhuru Ahead of Mashujaa Day Celebrations

With two days remaining before Kenyans flock to Kirinyaga county for Madaraka day celebrations, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has penned down an emotional message to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kuria, who hails from Uhuru's home constituency, took to his Facebook page to wish Uhuru well as he pre[pares to lead the country in his last Madaraka Day celebrations as the head of state.

"As you prepare to leave office on 9th August next year, this is to wish you a happy Mashujaa Day 2021," read part of Kuria's post

Kuria went ahead to laud Uhuru, saying the country owes him a debt of gratitude for having led the country for a period of 10 years.

The vocal MP's message to Uhuru came as a suprise, having in mind that Kuria. who is an ally of DP William Ruto. has been a fierce critic of President Uhuru. However, Kuria has lately down his tone on attacks on government, ever since he joined hands with Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua and TSP party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri to advocate for the interests of Mt Kenya people from any presidential candidate seeking for support from the region.

Kuria was recently released from a Nairobi hospital, where he had been admitted after burning his legs while warming them using an electric blanket.
