Kenya Kwanza Alliance Insiders have Claimed Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua, Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi, and Interior CS Hon Kithure Kindiki are worried that President William Ruto might succumb to the escalating pressure to shake hands with the Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga.
According to the reports by the Sunday Nation, it has emerged that the 3 senior Kenya Kwanza Operatives are doing everything possible to prevent a truce between Ruto and Gachagua in the fear that the former Prime Minister's entry into the government might complicate their future political careers as well as Mathematics.
Also, the three are fearing that in case the Ruto and Raila handshake happens, their influence in the Kenya Kwanza Government might dwindle with time hence rendering them useless shortly. Their worry has been understood by the likes of Kikuyu Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwa who has insisted that for them to have a discussion with Raila it must be centered on the economy and not the Constitution amendment.
