This weekend Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga made a tour to the North Eastern Particularly the Garrissa region. Raila was warmly welcomed in the region with some of the regions politicians backing him up.
Addressing the people Raila promised the residents in his Azimio La Umoja campaign, Raila promised the residents who are nomadic pastoralists that he priotise their economic activity when he comes to power after the upcoming 2022 General election.
Among other promises was that he would ensure that the region which over the recent years have problems of few teachers will get maximum personnel to boost the education sector.
"A girl and her camels . Asante sana watu wangu wa Garissa! No more sitting in traffic for me!", Winnie Odinga stated.
