The two elite politicians have been making trips to the vote-rich mount Kenya region seeking support from the electorates. In the recent utterances, Raila and Ruto have been claiming to be both popular in the region and that they do not need endorsement from anyone to get votes from the region.
Today, a publication by the Star Newspaper has revealed that DP Ruto is still the most accepted presidential aspirant in the Mt Kenya region among the contestants. According to the research done by Radio Africa Group (RAG), DP Ruto leads the park with 57% while Raila comes second with only 11% as Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi follows respectively.
This research affirms with what Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome said a couple of months ago that the man from Sugoi will take a whooping 85-95% of the votes from Mt Kenya.
