Uhuru Responds To Kipchumba Murkomen About Lifting Curfew, Tells Him Curfew Will Continue

President Uhuru has responded to Kipchumba Murkomen who asked the president to stop hypocrisy and lift curfew. Speaking at Kahawa Garrison during the 10th anniversary of the Kenya Defence Forces, Uhuru Kenyatta responded to what Murkomen had said before asking president to remove curfew. Murkomen has earlier on said that those suffering as a result of curfew are more than those benefiting.

In response to this, President Uhuru said that Curfew will continue. Uhuru said that according to what he saw at Kahawa Garrison, the curfew will have to go on because of safety of the children. Uhuru said that there are so many children who need to be protected thus no chances of removing the curfew.

"There are so many children here. Let the curfew go on,” the President Uhuru said.

Kipchumba Murkomen said that President Uhuru is playing with people's psychology by enforcing curfew at night yet politicians are freely campaigning during the day.
