Vocal ODM MP George Peter Kaluma from Homabay Town is now calling for the arrest and detention of Turkana County Governor over poor leadership.
According to the MP, Turkana County has already been allocated 120 billion Kenyan shillings since devolution but life continues to get rough there more than before the introduction of the County government.
Turkana County is still suffering from hunger and inaccessibility of clean adequate water for their daily survivals yet the Central Government has been trying hard to improve lives there through their Governor who according to Peter Kaluma has failed his people as well as the devolution.
Now he is much convinced that the governor needs to be punished mainly by getting arrested and detained for poorly leading his county.
Could these calls be due to the current political heat in the country and the fear of losing Turkana County to Raila's top political rival DP Ruto due to Governor Nanok's current political take?
Currently, the Turkana County Governor is at DP Ruto's UDA camp and has been working hard on the ground to ensure he delivers the Turkana people to DP Ruto.
Something which might come as a major injury to the ODM party leader Raila Odinga who has been enjoying the massive support from Turkana County in his past presidential bids.
