Deputy President William Ruto's Presidential Campaign has penned an emotional letter to the Nation Media Group, NMG complaining about what it claimed as negative stories about its Candidate, Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto.
In a letter reported by Kenyans.co.ke, the Director of Communications in the DP's Presidential Campaign team Hussein Mohammed wrote to NMG Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stephen Gitagama accusing the it of biased stories including the Sunday's headline alleging that Ruto almost slapped Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Hussein Mohamed, the 'Day I almost slapped Uhuru' has been used to negatively profile Kenya Kwanza, terming the Sunday Nation headline story was pure misrepresentation of facts.
Hussein Mohamed added that the headline was used in an attempt todecoy the attention of Kenyans from the recently launched manifesto.
This comes after a section of leaders allied to DP Have taken to different social media platforms to criticize the media outlet.
