Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has lauded Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioner Irene Masit for standing fast despite all threats and blackmail. "apewe taji zote" Kalonzo added.

On Wednesday, December 15, Irene Masit said that despite all pressure on her , she will not leave until her name is cleared. She also said that Kenyans should expect a bombshell pertaining the 9th august election management.
“I’m not ready to quit and Kenyans should expect a bombshell during my appearance before the Justice Aggrey Muchelule-led tribunal,” she said.
