Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has lauded Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioner Irene Masit for standing fast despite all threats and blackmail. "apewe taji zote" Kalonzo added.

Kama Kuna shujaa ambaye anastahili kupatiwa ushujaa na decorations zote ambazo zinaweza kupatikana kwa nchi ni mama huyo ambaye amesema mimi wacha jamani roho yangu iwe kazi" he said.He further added that Irene Masit should be awarded for standing for the the truth pertaining to 9the of August elections.
On Wednesday, December 15, Irene Masit said that despite all pressure on her , she will not leave until her name is cleared. She also said that Kenyans should expect a bombshell pertaining the 9th august election management.
“I’m not ready to quit and Kenyans should expect a bombshell during my appearance before the Justice Aggrey Muchelule-led tribunal,” she said.
