Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati has finally revealed his preferred presidential candidate in August polls after been linked to deputy president William Ruto led UDA party.
Speaking today during a press briefing of all Governors allied to Azimio La Umoja movement, governor Wycliffe Wangamati publicly announced to support Raila Odinga presidential bid under Azimio La Umoja.
" We gonna support Raila Odinga as the filth president of Kenya under Azimio La Umoja movement" said governor Wycliffe Wangamati during the press briefing.
Governor Wycliffe Wangamati has been linked with deputy president William Ruto led UDA party after his close allies defected to the party. His deputy governor Charles Ngome led a group of MCAs allied to him in defecting to UDA party.

Raila Odinga hosted over thirty governors allied to his Azimio La Umoja movement at Enashipai resort and SPA hotel in Naivasha. Over thirty governors from different counties are in attendance.
Some of the governors present includes Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Kivutha Kibwana, Lee Kinyanjui, Francis Kimemia, James Nyoro, Nderitu Muriithi, Joseph Ole Lenku, Hassan Joho, Wycliffe Wambora, Anne Kananu, Amason Kingi, Wilber Ottichilo among other governors.
