President Uhuru Kenyatta's director of communications Polycarp Hinga, has allegedly leaked two internal opinion polls that was conducted by Deputy President William Ruto's Chief of Staff Davis Chirchir.
In a Twitter handle through his social media platform on Friday morning, Hinga stated that Chirchir conducted a first opinion poll and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was at 43 percent while DP Ruto came a close second with 40 percent.
He further revealed that a second opinion poll that was conducted by Chirchir had the ODM leader leading with 46 percent leaving DP Ruto trailing at 41 percent.
"Recently Chirchir has conducted two internal polls for UDA. First one put Ruto at 40% against Raila's 43%. Second one done sometime between late last month and early this month put Ruto at 41% and Raila Odinga at 46%. These are facts but feel free to waste your time arguing." Hinga posted on his Twitter page.
