Rift Valley MP Accuses Raila Of Violating Electoral Laws, Demands Matiangi And Kagwe To Resign

Mogotio Mp Daniel Tuitoek has accused the former prime minister Raila Odinga of violating electoral laws set by constitution. According to him, using of state machinery to facilitate his campaigns is such a huge violation to the laws. He accuses Raila of using government vehicles as well as state officers including them are Cs Fred Matiangi and Cs Mutahi Kagwe whereas the constitution bars them.

According to chapter six, article 77(1&2) it reads," (1)A full-time State officer shall not participate in any other gainful employment party.

(2) Any appointed State officer shall not hold office in a political party."

He thus demands these two cabinet secretaries to resigns if they have the urge to engage in political activities.

He also castigated Junet for saying that power will be centered in Nyanza region if Raila clinches the presidency in 2022. He demanded that Junet withdraws his words as that was a threatening message to Kenya.
