Kimilili Member of Parliament Hon Didmus Barasa has informed plans to arrest former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2022 if Deputy President William Ruto takes over the Presidency issuing contentious remarks.
According to the Kimilili Legislator who is an ardent supporter of Deputy President William Ruto, he has said that he remains a strong supporter of the Deputy President, adding that come 2022 they will not allow seeing Raila Odinga bother Kenyans with his post-election protest should the Deputy President William Ruto win the Presidency.
The Kimilili Member of Parliament has said that should DP Ruto win the Presidency, he wants to ask him that he should appoint him as the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior saying that he will not tolerate the behavior of the ODM party to reject election outcomes.
MP Didmus has made it clear that should the ODM leader protest after his defeat he will immediately direct for his immediate arrest.
the best medicine of Raila Odinga so that he cannot protest after the election outcome in 2022 is to appoint me to serve in the Ministry of Interior docket so that I will give an order to have him arrested immediately and taken to court. So the law must be followed strictly without favoritism, the law is supreme!" Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has said.
