The political temperature is changing day by day as we approach 2027 general election of Kenya. Recently the government funded the office of Mudavadi's wife. Some of the leaders in the country suggested this move was meant to unleash the rivalry between Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi.

He has posted the following message in his official twitter account after government funded the office of Mudavadi's wife, "Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is being silenced by President William Samoei Ruto and for the better of a stable Kenya. He's loose mouthed and irritates whenever he speaks. The decision to fund Tessie Mudavadi is a plot to bring Musalia Mudavadi to the second office in the land. He'll be running mate in 2027."
