Since the late former President Daniel Arap Moi stepped down from the presidential seat prior to the 2002 general election, no one has been able to get the seat from the hands of Mt. Kenya people. They have been leading this nation to date thus making many people in other parts of the nation to believe that residents from Mt. Kenya region are enjoying but as things seem to be, some are suffering.
That is because today, angry Jubilee MP Rigathi Gachagua who is from Mt. Kenya region broke lose while speaking to TV47 Kenya. The Mathira Member of Parliament went on to say that they don't need the Deputy President seat in 2022 poll. According to Rigathi Gachagua, the Mt. Kenya region residents are currently suffering yet they have President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Mt Kenya region is not looking for the deputy president's position in 2022 because we currently have the presidency and we are suffering." Said Rigathi Gachagua.
