Today in the afternoon, reports have emerged that the president of the republic of Kenya Dr William Samoe Ruto has made a new appointment. On this appointment which was announced through the public gazzete, the chief in command appointed the second governor of Kiambu county, hon Ferdinand Waititu to be a member of the Nairobi Rivers Commision.
Waititu was appointed together with Mrs Pamela A. olet as the chairperson of the commision. Others are Evah Muhia, Elizabeth Wathuti, Carlota Da Lago and Elijah Biama. Waititu and his colleagues will be serving on this commision for the next three years. Their duty will mainly be to protect all rivers in Nairobi county.
"Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has landed a new job after being appointed by President William Ruto to be a member of the Nairobi Rivers Commission. Through a gazette notice dated December 2, 2022, Ruto named Pamela A. Olet as the chairperson of the commission." Said the reports.
