Unexpected Kenyans Who Have Once Been Honoured With Head of State Recommendation By President Uhuru

If by any chance you see any Kenyan identifying himself or placing HSC before his or her name, you should respect that person. This is because HSC is an award from the President which means Head of State Commendations.

This award is given annually on Mashujaa Day Celebrations by the President to honor Kenyans who have been exemplary over the said year.

Mbusii

Daniel Githinji, alias Mbusii is a radio presenter of Radio Jambo and formerly of Ghetto Radio. Mbusii is known for his deep love for Reggae Music.

Mbusii received Head of State Recommendation in 2017 months after a one on one interview with President Uhuru Kenyatta at Statehouse which was conducted in 'sheng' slang.

Bi Msafwari

Zighe Joyce Msafwari who is popularly known as Bi Msafwari is another Kenyan who was lucky to receive Head of State Recommendation.

Bi Msafwari is a renowned public figure who is always of Citizen TV's Nipashe where she gives relationships advice as well as expounding the Swahili language. She received her award in 2019 under the civilian division

Bill Arocho

Billy Arocho is the twin brother of Fred Arocho who is a renowned sports commentor. Billy Arocho works as the personal bouncer of President Uhuru Kenyatta thus was honored with the Head of State Recommendation after over 15 years of servicing President Uhuru

Robert Alai

Robert Alai is amongst the top Kenyan bloggers. Though Robert Alai is known for being number one critic of the government, Robert Alai was honored with the Head of State Recommendation in 2017. Robert Alai however returned the award since it was a sign of disloyalty to Raila Odinga

Githeri Man

Martin Kamotho who is popularly known as Githeri Man is another Kenyan who has ever received the Head of State Recommendation. This was after he went viral after he was seen eating Githeri while lining up to vote in the 2017 presidential elections.
