The political muscles are being tasted across all arms of government and the senate has fallen the victim of arrests during proceedings. Some few months ago senators were arrested during the debated revenue bill allocation. It is so unfortunate that Senator Mithika Linturi has been arrested on his way back to the senate after participating during morning proceedings.
Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior told Speaker Senate Kenneth Lusaka to bring Mithika Linturi to the house or all senators to walk out of the senate Chambers.
According to senator Wambua he stated that the arrest of Mithika Linturi by IG is very unfortunate. According to Wambua IG is misusing his powers.
Angry Kimani Wamatangi warned senators of raising temperatures in the house. According to Wamatangi stated that members should stop speculating but wait untill Mithika Linturi was represented.
Orengo reacted warning Senator Wamatangi that the matter was not simple and Mithika Linturi must be produced. He told Speaker Lusaka to give a proper answer of what was happening.
