List of Donald Trump and 5 Other US Presidents Who Served Only One Term

Joe Biden was on Saturday announced as the 46th American president making Donald Trump a one term president. Trump is not the first one to be voted out after one term he are 5 other Presidents who didn't serve two terms.

1. George H.W Bush

He served as a president between 1989 to 1993. Even though during hsi time the cold war ended and the Berlin Wall fell, he was voted out and replaced by Bill Clinton. His son later became a president. Bush died in 2018.

2. Jimmy Carter

He served as a president between 1977 and 1981. He was voted out as during his first term US was faced with economic crises. Jimmy is aged 96 and has enjoyed 40 post presidency years.

3. Herbert Hoover

He served as President for USA between 1929 and 1933. During his reign there a total collapse of the ecomic market which resulted him to be voted out when he was vying for the second term

4. William Howard Taft

He was the successor of Teddy Roosevelt. During his term he had differences with his party the Republican which forced him to find another party he would use to vie for teh second term. He unfortunately lost the elctions. He later became a chief justice for USA.

5. Martin Van Buren

He served as a US president between 1837 and 1841. He has succeeded Jackson. But a few months to his presidency America faced an economic crash which was Jackson's fault but led to him being defeated when asking for the second term.
