Not Again, See What DP Ruto Did Immediately He Landed In President Uhuru’s Backyard For A Meeting

On Sunday, August 22, Deputy President William Samoei Ruto attended a church service at ACK St Luke's Wanguru Church in Ngurubani town, Mwea constituency, Kirinyaga County, which is also home to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Hon. Purity Wangui Ngirici, Hon. Gichimu, Hon. Allice Wahome, Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, Hon. Didmus Wekesa Barasa, Sen Mary Seneta, Hon. Sylvanus Osoro, Hon. John Njuguna Wanjiku, Hon. Susan Kihika, Hon. Aisha Jumwa, and several aspirants politicians from the region accompanied the second in command to the Mountain region.

As soon as the Hustler Nation chairman landed, he followed the Coronavirus standards by donning a mask before greeting fantastic fellow leaders and church officials and proceeding directly to the church building where the service was in progress.

Below is a video that demonstrates the same.

Kenyans praised Ruto's decision to wear a mask, saying it was the correct thing to do, and that he is a law-abiding person who respects Covid-19 containment protocols because he cares about the lives of all Kenyans. His move was praised since other politicians frequently flout official norms, making them appear superior to the law, but Ruto does the right thing.

Apart from that, Ruto spoke on Kenyan unity and urged politicians to set politics aside and focus on rebuilding the economy, which most people believe is currently sinking due to the spike in commodity prices. He also drummed up support for his presidential bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta next year.
