A sizeable group of members of the national assembly and senators are currently in Juba, the capital city of South Sudan for the annual east african parliamentary games that are being held at Juba for the next couple of days.
As the lawmakers gears in for the games, a number of Azimio la umoja One Kenya coalition party lawmakers — two senators and one member of the national assembly — have been hosted to a very high profile meeting.
Taking to social media, Rarieda constituency member of the national assembly Otiende Amollo disclosed that together with senators Ledama Olekina of Narok county and Migori county senator Eddie Oketch, they were hosted by South Sudan vice president Rebecca Mabior.
Otiende explained that it was a pleasure to meet her together with members of her family.
"Together with my colleagues, senators Ledama Olekina and Eddie Okech, it was a pleasure to be hosted in Juba by HE Rebecca Nyandeng Mabior, the vice president of the republic of South Sudan. Graceful, insightful and deeply patriotic. Simply a pleasure to meet her and her family," he stated.
