Speaker Muturi Defends Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi, Sends Warning To Public For Doing This To Him

Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has send a warning to members of the public to stop attacking Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi.

Muturi said that everyone has a right but they should acknowledge when they have good leaders and allow them work in conducive environment.

Muturi spoke during a memorial service at Nthimbiri Kithangene village in Meru accompanied by Meru governor and his deputy Dr. Titus Ntuchiu.

"I urged the public to desist from aimlessly attacking the governor. It is your right as mwananchi to want better but let us acknoledge when we have good leaders and let us allow them to work in a conducive environment," said Muturi on twitter.

This seems to be one way of bringing Mt Kenya people together for his support whereby Kiraitu Murungi has been rallying the region to back Muturi for the top seat.

However, Muturi has previously been touted as one of the people from Mt Kenya whom Deputy President William Ruto is considering as a running mate.
