Legislature Peter Kaluma has revealed that he will bring a bill on parliament that will see the rampant cattle rustlers in the country that are claiming people's lives to be punished through death upon conviction.
Taking to his Twitter page, Kaluma has revealed that rustling is robbery with violence and it is supposed to be stopped by any means necessary.
This comes after some of the rustlers in Elgeyo Marakwet attacked a village killing two girls aged 13 and 17 respectively.
Cattle Rustlers have been a nightmare in some of the areas in the country that includes the north rift side and some parts of rift Valley.
"STOP RUSTLING: Rustlers attack village in Elgeyo Marakwet killing 2 girls aged 13 and 17, make away with 75 heads of cattle belonging to the family. Rustling is robbery with violence. This new year, I'll bring a Bill to make rustling punishable by Death upon conviction!" He wrote.
