Ruto's Ally Johnstone Nduya Muthama has revealed how the relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM's leader Raila Odinga may soon end by explaining how it all began with Uhuru's promise to the people of Mt Kenya that he would endorse Ruto.
During the pre 2017 election campaigns, Uhuru had promised that he would occupy the Presidential seat for 10 years and later leave it for his running mate DP Ruto.
With the promise, media sources reported some few months ago that Uhuru Kenyatta wants Raila to climb the mountain alone. According to ex Senator Johnstone Nduya Muthama, he has stated that the reason as to why Uhuru is not willing to introduce Raila to the region is because of the promise he gave the people.
Muthama added that it was a kind of conmanship and craness for Uhuru Kenyatta to choose DP Ruto as his running mate with the promise of supporting him later.
"It was an act of CONMANSHIP & sheer CRAFTINESS for H.E Uhuru Kenyatta to CHOOSE @WilliamsRuto as his RUNNING MATE in 2013 & 2017 with PROMISE of 'KUMI YANGU & KUMI YA RUTO'. Such PROMISES can't easily be ERASED from the MINDS of informed KENYANS more so those in Central Kenya", Muthama stated.
"No wonder it has become so HARD for Uhuru to INTRODUCE @RailaOdinga to the MOUNTAIN since he knows what he promised @WilliamsRuto can't be CHANGED OVERNIGHT in the region", Muthama added.
