Today Baringo senator Gideon Moi took his presidential campaigns in Riftvalley region. The vibrant senator is competing with deputy president William Ruto to control the vote-rich region ahead of 2022 polls. The two leaders are popular and influential in the region.
The KANU national chairman brought Kericho town to a standstill as he intensifies his presidential campaigns in the region. A huge crowd of local residents warmly welcomed the senator and his entourage. He was accompanied by KANU secretary general Nick Salat and senior KANU officials.
The senator popularized his presidential bid and urged Kericho residents to fully support his bid. Senator Gideon Moi further called for peace and unity in the region. The senator was recently nominated as KANU preferred presidential candidate.
