Sakaja Beats Igathe in a New Opinion Poll on The Nairobi Governor Seat Race

A recent Infotrak poll indicates that Johnson Sakaja, the UDA candidate for Nairobi County, would prevail if the vote were taken immediately now.

The poll indicates that there are 33 days till the elections on August 9 and that the candidate for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition presently has a 39 percent lead. Polycarp Igathe of Jubilee, his major opponent, is not far behind with 33 percent of the vote. The results of the investigation show that Igathe is overtaking Sakaja, whose support has been dropping.

In Nairobi, Raila Amolo Odinga, the head of the Orange Democratic Movement party and a former prime minister of the Republic of Kenya, is currently ahead of William Samoi Ruto, the vice president of Kenya and presidential candidate for Kenya Kwanza, with more candidates who are more well-liked and have a better chance of winning. Raila Amolo Odinga now holds the advantage of having the most candidates.

The Azimio la Umoja one Kenya alliance Coalition appears to have won the Senate and the position of the woman representative in Nairobi, both of which are important positions in the city.
