Deputy president William Ruto camped in Machakos county for a two-day political tour. He ended his tour yesterday evening. He traversed three constituencies of Machakos county namely; Machakos constituency, Mwala constituency and Masinga constituency.
He addressed several rallies in the the three constituencies of Machakos county. He was accompanied by several leaders allied to UDA party. The leaders includes Machakos Town legislator Victor Munyaka, Mwala MP Vincent Musau and former senator Johnstone Muthama.
The deputy president donated 1.5 million to Machakos residents during an empowerment program at Marikiti market. The second in command said that the money is for specific groups in the market and for Bodaboda riders. He gave the amount to area member of parliament Hon. Victor Munyaka.
Today rowdy Machakos residents have stormed Machakos CDF offices demanding share of deputy president William Ruto 1.5 million donation. This information and photos were shared by local Ukambani Mutongoi TV on its official Facebook page.
The angry residents staged demonstrations outside the Constituency offices demanding their share from the area member of parliament. According to photos shared by Mutongoi TV, the residents angrily engaged constituency staffs working in the office of the Machakos legislator.
