Ruto Changes Tune On Uhuru Prosecution, As His Allies Allege Uhuru's Next Move To Promote Raila

Deputy President William Ruto has recently changed tune on claims of prosecuting Uhuru after hinting about the same on Friday.

During Kenya Kwanza's rally in Tharaka Nithi, Ruto revealed that he had no intention of taking Uhuru to court.

According to Ruto he had no problem with Uhuru and that nobody would take him to court after his retirement. Ruto added that his competition was with Raila and not Uhuru.

Despite that however, Ruto ally Ahmed Nassir Abdullahi, has recently come up with fresh claims about how Uhuru is planning to popularize the Azimio coalition all over the country.

Azimio have been putting up advertisements in top media stations such as Royal Media owned Citizen and Inooro TV.

According to Ahmed Nassir, Uhuru's move is set to be more desperate. This was because Uhuru's office and the office of foreign affairs had apparently planned to ask ambassadors and high commissioners from certain regions in the country, to make promotional videos supporting Azimio.

Ahmed Nassir: I am informed that the office of the President and foreigner affairs have targeted high commissioners and Ambassadors from certain regions to record promotion videos supporting Azimio and Raila.
