Today in Addis Abeba Safaricom Ethiopia launches and President William Samoei Ruto will officiate at the event. The Vice President Rigathi Gachagua and the Head of the Defense Forces Robert Kibochi drove the President to the airport.
At the Bole International Airport Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with William Ruto the country next president. Ahmed will continue to serve as his host till the completion of his business in the nation.
The president was accompanied by a number of important Kenyan officials.
First Oscar Sudi represents the Kapsaret district in the legislature.
The second contender is Davis Chirchir who is running for chief secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
The Defense Ministry choice for Chief of Staff Aden Duale comes in third.
The Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs is Rachael Omamo.
Among other high dignitaries he appointed Monica Juma the Energy Cabinet Secretary to counsel him on matters of national security.
High ranking representatives from Safaricom including CEO Peter Ndegwa attended them as well.
The visit coincides with a difficult period of combat between Ethiopian forces and the Tigray People Liberation Front TPLF.
