Taking to his Facebook page,the Raila Odinga personal lawyer said than he conducted an empowerment program which was aiming to benefitting over 10,000 traders in the county as they also aim to modernize the siaya town market into an international standards. The first beneficiary of the program were the siaya traders umbrella organization Sacco.
"Conducted an Empowerment program of siaya traders umbrella organization Sacco in siaya market Alego usonga constituency. The program will benefit over 10,000 women in the Sacco. We are committed to modernizing this market too," he wrote.
Orengo emulating the deputy president William Ruto's idea of empowering hustlers is an early morning call to Raila Odinga his party leader that the conversation has already changed and leaders are talking about empowering the hustlers and the poor Kenyans.
