With only 33 Days to the August polls, the presidential race has continued to gain momentum as presidential candidates Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, deputy president William Ruto of UDA, Prof Wajakoyah of Roots Party and Wahiga Mwaura of Agano patty makes last minute rush to consolidate votes.
As the race gains momentum, opinion polls on the other hand have continued to shade light on how the turn of events might be.
In the latest opinion polls conducted by pollster Info-track, Azimio leader Raila Odinga has continued to maintain his lead in the city county where he's leading the pack with 49%. DP Ruto on the other hand trails him with 30% followed by Prof Wajakoyah who currently commands 5% of the city votes. Closing in the race is Agano Party leader Wahiga Mwaura with only 0.3%.
The entry of Wajackoya into the race has continued to cause jitters among the 'big boys' with some saying that he might send the election into a runoff.
