A number of issues have recently arisen in Nairobi, the nation's capital, as a result of an upsurge in theft-related muggings and the stabbing of innocent Kenyans by armed gangs who have taken control of the city.
This has compelled the newly appointed Spectre General of Police Japhet Koome and the cabinet secretary in charge of interior coordination to alter the top management of security personnel in the capital.
The most recent information is that James Mugera, who retired, has been replaced as Nairobi County's commandant by Adamson Bungei.
Before being transferred to Baringo in the Rift Valley, where he was charged with making sure that livestock rustling is a thing of the past, Bungei previously served as the OCPD of Buruburu, Central police.
He now returns to the city's capital, which has recently experienced an uptick in incidents involving organized gangs terrorizing the area. He is anticipated to restore some normalcy to the city.
