The season of ditching and joining political parties is in here. Many leaders who are set to seek for election in August 9, 2022 are herein considering political parties that they will vie in. The parties that have attracted alot of candidates are William Ruto's UDA party which is the latest poll showed that it is the popular party in the country and Raila's ODM party which is the second party in terms of popularity.
Today is a good day for the UDA party as a famous media personality joins the party and is set to contest for the Nakuru senatorial seat.
Earlier on Moses Kuria had allegedly said that Njogu wa Njoroge had joined his Chama cha Kazi party and he was set to vie using it. Njogu's arrival at UDA means that it is a big lose to Moses Kuria as his party loses one member.
Njogu’s enjoys a wide audience among Kikuyu speakers and was able to fill Kasarani Stadium when he marked 15 years in the media.
Entertainers are top on the list of public figures who will be going for elective seats in 2022, many eyeing parliamentary seats.
