Ruto was speaking on his tour in Machakos where he was urging residents to support his political bid. Ruto visited Donyo, Sabak, Tala, Kagundo and Kivaani Trading centers. He was in accompany of UDA Chairman Johnson Muthama, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka, Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka among other area leaders.
He claims that Raila has been attending meetings in Nairobi in order to be interviewed if he can lead the country. He has stated that voters will decide on who to cast vote for in August election without consideration of who was interviewed in hotels.
Ruto alleges that Raila Odinga is only interested in sharing of powers among leaders rubishing their plans to bring up BBI.
Ruto informs that voters won't accept handouts from leaders informing that UDA agendas are focused on creating jobs and empowering small business people.
