In today's meeting mama Rachel hosted the ambassador of the Republic of China who is currently visiting state house to discuss partnership options between Kenya and China.
In today's meeting she revealed that she is seeking to partner with foreign countries in lifting and uplifting the livelihoods of women in the country. She has been a strong advocate of women empowerment an initiative she took upon herself while she was still the wife to the then deputy president.
The First lady stood out after embracing the African kitenge which has become a common outfit with the first lady. She has openly embraced the African attire which has also seen her mentioned among the best dressed first ladies in the continent.
