The party's disciplinary committee on Monday summoned Mwaura to appear before it over alleged breach of the party's constitution in select instances
[Photo courtesy]According to the letter from the party, Mwaura declared his support for United Alliance Party on 30th Dec 2020 where he publicly wore UDA branded materials. This is against the party's rules. According to him, he is still loyal to the party and his expulsion has been politicized.
Mwaura earlier was accused of vandalizing opposition leader Raila Odinga's rally at Githurai 45. Maura is said to have organized and paid hooligans to block Raila from speaking to residents in the area.In a charge sheet released on Monday, the party accused Mwaura of pledging allegiance to another political party contrary to Jubilee's code of conduct.
"I have been loyal to the party and I have never spoken ill of it. I respect the leadership and every other person in the party. Mwaura said.
Mr Mwaura is accused that in Msambweni Constituency, he acted contrary to conduct expected of a Jubilee member when he publicly announced his allegiance to the United Democratic Alliance party during the homecoming party of the newly elected Msambweni MP Feisal Bader.
Do you think this was a right decision for jubilee.
