Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho Breaks Silence Hours After Meeting Raila

ODM leader Raila Odinga was in Naivasha where he is presided over a consultative meeting with governors who are supporting his Azimio la Umoja drive.

The Naivasha meeting is the inaugural political engagement between Raila and the county bosses as he seeks to hand them a bigger role in the grassroots management of his presidential campaigns.

Focusing on official Facebook page account of Hassan Joho he said;

The only way to ensure that we strengthen devolution is by electing a leadership that not only fights for it but also believes in it. 

Devolution will only be safe in the hands of the person who sacrificed all to secure it's realisation. 

As governors and compatriots, we have today declared our unwavering support for Rt.Hon. Raila Odinga's presidential bid in the upcoming general election.

The gathering in Naivasha comes two days after Raila sent off his official campaign in Thika on Saturday where he was advocated by a segment of Kiambu labeled pioneers.

Driven by Governor James Nyoro, the pioneers said Raila has a past filled with disturbing for the weal of all and shows at least a bit of kindness of administration.

"We've acknowledged to walk the excursion with Raila as he has the solutions to our productive great. Mount Kenya area has joined together and obviously Raila is the fifth President,"Nyoro said.

His feelings were reverberated by Kiambu city MP Jude Njomo who expressed that not at all like the history,Mt. Kenya residers are more edified and will place every one of their votes in Raila's handbasket.
