As the general elections nears the number of contenders in for different seats is increasing day in day out. Celebrities and actors have also decided to enter into politics with some likes of jalango saying they are already to quit to enter into politics.
The latest celebrity to join politics is Dorea chege. The popular actress known as maggie who featured in the kenyan soap Maria has announced she will be going for Nairobi women representative.
The celebrated actress as said she is up to the task saying she will vie for the seat as an independent candidate asking Nairobians to Choose change.
Dorea will face the likes of millicent omanga who will be standing under uda and the current women representative Eshter passaris who will be defending her seat. Kenyans have welcomed maggie in the race with some vowing to support her bid.
Others have criticised her telling her to stick into acting terming politics as a dirty game that will spoil her reputation.
