Kimani Ichungwah Urges Junet To Apologise To Prevent Further Controversy

"What I said in Nyamira County has totally been blown out of context, been misinterpreted, misreported, misdirected… Campaigns are local and I was addressing the Gusii community. My statement was not based on excluding anyone." Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed stated during Citizen TV interview with Trevor Ombija about his controversial statement in Nyamira County.

However, Kikuyu Constituency Member of Parliament and UDA supporter, Kimani Ichungwah is not pleased with how Junet Mohammed is explaining himself about his controversial statement that has caused a debate in the country.

Taking to his official Twitter podcast, Kimani Ichungwah has revealed that Junet Mohammed should apologise to avoid worsening the situation which is already blown out.

"Misreported, misquoted @JunetMohamed should simply APOLOGIZE. Don’t use others to excuse your running mouth exposing your deep held disdain for others and your OdM ideology of division and violence." Kimani Ichungwah wrote.

Junet Mohammed should acknowledge his mistake and apologise to allow the matter to pass through to avoid more costly controversies.
