Kesses member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra had send a message of condolences to the family and friends of Mitchell Chebet.
Speaking to the press during the funds drive to settle her hospital blocks and burial expenses Dr. Mishra described the deceased as God fearing and down to earth lady.

"I want to send my message of condolences to the family and friends of the deceased may God give you comfort during this hard time of mourning.Indeed it is not easy but God will take you through," said the Kesses Jubilee party firstterm member of parliament during the funds drive.
The Kessess legislator who is known for his philanthropic nature donated Sh 1 million for the same.
"It is a big loss not only to the family but to the people of Kesses in general. May God rest Mitchell’s soul in peace as He grant peace to the family of my longtime friend Mr. Abraham Cheruiyot. May God comfort you and give you strength during such tragic moments ," the Kesses legislator said.
The deceased will be buried next week at her rural home UK next Kesses constituency.
In another event the Kesses legislator donated Sh. 350,000 to Mwalimu Simon Rotich (Kapmwogi) of Chepkoiyo village Tulwet/Chuiyat ward for a fund drive of Maureen Cheruto who is going to Australia to further her studies.
