Today, the president of the republic of Kenya, Dr William Samoe Ruto and his deputy, hon Rigathi Gachagua together with their wives presided over the swearing-in of their new cabinet secretaries. This happened at Statehouse Nairobi where all the 24 cabinet members including the attorney general, prime cabinet minister and the head of public service were sworn-in to take over their new offices.
Now, it was during this event where President William Samoe Ruto openly told his ministers what is going to happen if they will not deliver. As seen from a video shared by the NTV News, Ruto told the new ministers that a failure to deliver will be the onset of problems between them and the president. Ruto said that those who will not do their work will really have a big problem with him but he did not reveal whether he will reshuffle them.
The president always have a constitutional power to remove any minister from his/her office wherever he feels that the minister is not doing his/her work. Click on this link to watch the https://youtu.be/ZD2U4ktyO3w.
