President Uhuru Lifts Curfew But Sends This Crucial Message To Kenyans [Video]

The President of Kenya and the Cammander - in - Chief of Defense Forces His Excellency Uhuru Mugai Kenyatta Today Attended Mashujaa Day Celebration held at Wang'uru stadium in Kirinyaga.

During the event, the Head of State inspected a colourful guard of honour mounted by Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) Tri - Service Troops comprising of Officers from Kenya Army, Kenya Airforce and Kenya Navy.

Speaking during the celebration, the President left Kenyans exited after lifting nationwide dusk to dawn curfew which has been in effect since March 27th, 2022 with immediate effect. The Head of State however send a message to religious centres or places of worship requiring them to have up to two - third of congregation.

This comes just days after he made a joke curfew should continue but later hinted on lifting it. This move however elicited mixed reaction from different leaders who claimed that the president heard the cry of Kenyans.

Kenyans are advised to continue adhering to covid-19 regulations and get vaccinated to avoid going back into lockdown as we forge ahead.
