WOMEN FOR LEADERSHIP; EAST AFRICAN countries taking side

Following the swearing in of her excellency Rais Samia Suluhu as the sixth and current serving president of Tanzania, taking after her late boss Maghufuli's demise.

This has shown African countries most especially East African countries as a community, that it's time for ladies to rule.

Ladies are no more left aside when it comes to leadership, we believe in the power of women. President Suluhu has shown women the way with her courageously standing in as a president for an African nation where no one ever dreamed of ladies being at the top but bottom. She has indeed disapproved the boychild who thought she won't be able to control and rule, as her work is calling.

Today, Kenya has just decided to give it a test too, being the amongst the top East African countries implementing or proving that women needs to be treated in equal proportion as men. This comes after judge Martha Koome being announced the winner of the Chief Justice seat after interviewing all the short listed candidates.

The biggest truth I have learnt from the nomination of lady chief Justice Martha Koome for the position of the Chief Justice is that the future is UNISEX.

Women Empowerment all along has been our clarion call. It is part of our ideology. We join the rest of the country in celebrating Hon. Lady Justice Martha Koome for breaking the glass ceilings to become the first female Chief Justice in Independent Kenya.

We are optimistic in the end product as we will be indeed practicing democracy.
