Hon John Njuguna is the current member of Parliament for the Kiambaa Constituency, Kiambu County. He was elected under the UDA party during last year's by-election after the death of the area MP.
And today during Prayer breakfast at DP Ruto Karen residence, DP Ruto revealed how Hon Wanjiku became the MP for Kiambaa despite all odds.
He alleged that UDA had Hon Kariri Njama as their candidate for the Kiambaa mini polls but the latter was lured to join the Jubilee Party. He further added that during the search for the candidate to run for the UDA party, they had to settle on Hon Wanjiku to fly on the UDA party despite the opinion polls showing that Njama who was now Jubilee candidate was enjoying huge support of 70 percent.
The second in command was using Hon Wanjiku's win to affirm to the attendees of the prayer breakfast that he is going to win the presidency despite all the odds.
