The Kiunjuri Party Will Present Candidates For All Positions Except The Presidency, This Is Why

The Service Party (TSP) has revealed that it will field candidates for all elected positions except the presidency in the 2022 general election.

In preparation for the eagerly awaited polls, the party has announced that it will soon be launching a call for nominations from interested candidates across the country.

Party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri revealed that the party's National Governing Council (CNG) had decided that at the presidential level, the TSP would engage like-minded parties to build pre- or post-election coalitions.

“We have listened to and engaged Kenyans across the country. They have said loud and clear that this time they will not vote for leaders on the basis of euphoria, ”he said.

He was speaking in Embu after a two-day consultative meeting with candidates for parliamentary and governor's seats from various parts of the country.

He urged Parliament to speed up all election laws for greater certainty and readiness for general elections.

Kiunjuri further highlighted eight broadcasts he described as irreducible minimums for all presidential candidates.

"Fair voting, equitable sharing of resources, the right to own property anywhere and to be elected, more resources for the agricultural sector, access to affordable credit for SMEs, universal health care coverage, Pesa Mashinani and the prudent use of public resources ”. Agriculture CS listed

He further called on Kenyans to take national identity cards and register as voters.
