There are some Ruto's allies who had been subjected to criticisms by some Kenyans for making so many tours to outside countries. Some of them include Trade CS Moses Kuria, Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen, Sports CS Ababu Namwamba and Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua.
However, Taifa Leo has today published that the president has defended those Cabinet Secretaries stating that they are going out to perform significant duties that will be beneficial to the country. It's reported that Moses Kuria alone has travelled more than 15 times outside the country. The news paper was posted by NTV on their facebook page.
There has been a public outcry that the leaders are spending tax payers money to go for tours. This was even recently witnessed when Kipchumba Murkomen was seen watching live game between Manchester United and Barcelona at Old Trafford, England.
After the report of Ruto Defending the cabinet secretaries emerge, Kenyans gave their comments as follows.
Andrew Nyamweya: Kumbe pesa iko
Kiprotich Elvis: If election was to be held today Ruto would be in Sugoi village by saa mbili.
William Lutomia:Kabisa haliwezi sema chochote kwa sababu wanapokea hongo kutoka kwa Zakayo kila siku.
