Orange Democratic Movement Party boss, Raila Odinga accompanied by the paucity of leaders allied to him toured Ukambani region, ready to popularize their respective quests.
Where they interacted with hundreds of locals.Who had turned out in large numbers to grace Raila's rally in the region.
However, Raila's tour in Machakos was not only marred with lots of acceptance but also bits of resistance.
At one point in Machakos town, Raila Odinga and his Azimio brigade were forced to endure a public humilation.
When a section of agitated residents begun heckling them chanting and shouting Wiper party related slogans at Raila's motorcade as it departed.
Despite efforts by Raila to wave at them, to calm the situation down. All was rendered futile forcing the azimuio brigade team to depart without engaging the locals.
Note that, Machakos being among the regions of Ukambani is perceived to Wiper Party political stronghold.Hence such a little reception could have been expected.
